CarePack

Terms of Use
Last updated: October 1, 2026

Welcome to CarePack. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the CarePack application, website, features, and related services. By creating an account or using CarePack, you agree to these Terms.

Important:

CarePack is a caregiving organization and coordination tool. It is not a healthcare provider, medical device, medical advice service, pharmacy, health insurer, or emergency response service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a CarePack account. CarePack is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts.

Users between 13 and 17 years old may use CarePack only as caregivers invited to a Pack, and only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to own a Pack or purchase a subscription.

An adult may use CarePack to organize information concerning a child, dependent, family member, or another person receiving care when the adult has appropriate authorization or another lawful basis to do so.

2. Information About Other People

If you enter, upload, store, or share information about another person, you represent that you have the right or appropriate authorization to do so.

CarePack does not independently verify guardianship, powers of attorney, healthcare proxy status, family relationships, or other legal authority.

3. Medical and Emergency Disclaimer

CarePack does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical decision-making, or emergency medical services.

Information stored in CarePack may be entered by users or caregivers and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

Do not use CarePack to decide whether a medication should be started, stopped, changed, administered, or withheld without appropriate professional guidance.

If you believe someone is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service immediately.

CarePack's Emergency View is intended to help display information previously entered by users. It should not be relied upon as the only source of critical emergency or medical information.

4. Care Teams and Shared Access

CarePack allows users to invite caregivers, family members, or other authorized individuals to participate in a Care Team.

You are responsible for deciding whom you invite and for removing access when someone should no longer have access to your Pack.

Information viewed or legitimately accessed by another authorized user may remain in that person's possession outside CarePack if they previously copied, photographed, downloaded, or otherwise retained it.

If a Pack owner deletes their CarePack account, the Packs they own — including their information and photos — are permanently deleted for all members.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for protecting your CarePack password, PIN, devices, and account access.

Notify CarePack if you believe your account or information has been accessed without authorization.

CarePack uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Care Circle and User Content

Care Circle and other communication tools are intended for caregiving coordination and communication.

They should not be used as the sole method for urgent or emergency communications.

Users remain responsible for messages, photographs, documents, information, and other content they provide through CarePack.

Optional AI-assisted photo scanning may read information incorrectly or incompletely. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any details before saving them. See the Privacy Policy for how photos are processed.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use CarePack to:

CarePack has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Care Circle filters objectionable language before it is posted. Any member can report a message or photo and block another user from within Care Circle. Care Circle photos are checked by an automated safety service before they are shared. CarePack reviews reports and may remove content and suspend or remove users who violate these Terms. Pack owners can also remove a caregiver from their Pack at any time. To report a concern, contact support@carepack.app.

8. Subscriptions and Billing

Using a Pack requires an active subscription held by the Pack owner. Caregivers invited to a Pack do not need their own subscription to participate in it. Each Pack a user owns requires its own subscription. Available plans, pricing, and billing frequency are displayed before purchase.

Eligible new subscribers may receive a free trial. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current billing period, subscriptions renew automatically and are charged to the account used for the purchase.

If the Pack owner's subscription ends, access to that Pack is paused for all of its members until the subscription is renewed. Pack information is retained during this time and is not deleted because a subscription ended.

Mobile subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed through the applicable platform, including billing, cancellation, and eligible refund requests.

Deleting the CarePack application does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

9. Service Availability

CarePack may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, internet outages, third-party failures, updates, technical issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

CarePack should not be used as the sole repository for information that may be needed immediately during an emergency.

10. Suspension or Termination

CarePack may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, violations of these Terms, or threats to users or the service.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CarePack is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

CarePack does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information entered by users and does not guarantee any medical, caregiving, insurance, financial, or other outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarePack and its operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited or waived.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, except where federal law or mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.

Users and CarePack should first make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve disputes informally.

Additional dispute-resolution procedures, including arbitration where legally applicable, may be established in updated Terms with appropriate notice and acceptance where required.

13. Changes to CarePack or These Terms

CarePack may update its services or these Terms as features, technology, business practices, or legal requirements evolve.

Material changes may be communicated through CarePack, email, the website, or another appropriate method.

14. Privacy

CarePack's collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
